About the speaker
Mr. Kenny Fok is the Senior Vice President (Operations) of the HKMC. He joined as the Treasurer of the HKMC in July 1997 and was promoted to the current position in August 1999. In his job capacity, he takes full charge of four functional units comprising Marketing and Research, Pricing, Credit/Interest Rate Risk Management and Mortgage Operations for the HKMC. The job responsibilities focus primarily on the active promotion and strategic development of the three core business areas of the HKMC - mortgage purchase, mortgage insurance and mortgage-backed securities.
Kenny obtained his B Sc (Economics) degree from the London School of Economics (University of London), specializing in Accounting and Finance. He then joined Coopers & Lybrand, London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 (associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales). He has also been a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1990 and an associate of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (UK) since 1996.
Registration
The admission fee for attending the lunch seminar is HKD50 per person.
The number of places is limited and will be allocated to FSIG members on a
first-come-first-served basis in case of over-subscription. For members who
wish to attend the seminar, please complete the attached reply
slip and return it by post or by fax and then follow by mail for registration
on or before Wednesday, 13 March 2002 to the Professional & Technical
Department of the Society, together with a cheque payable to "Hong Kong Society
of Accountants" if you pay your admission fee by cheque.
For enrolment by fax, remittance must follow within 5 calendar days of fax booking or else booking will be cancelled.
