Football Competition with Mainland Counterparts - hosted by HKSA

A football competition with Mainland Counterparts hosted by the Society was held in Hong Kong on 30 June and 1 July 2002. Visiting teams from Guangzhou and Shenzhen Institutes of Certified Public Accountants together with two teams from HKSA took part in the event.

After two days of action-packed matches, the Guangzhou team won the Championship along with the Best Defence Team Award. The Best Offence Team Award went to the team from Shenzhen. Also, by scoring three goals for the Shenzhen team, Mr. Huang Xiang of the team took the Most Goals Scored Award.

This was the fourth year that a football competition was held involving accountants from Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. The event provided a very good opportunity for our members to show their team spirit, as well as to meet their counterparts from Mainland.
