Q1. How can I get a new Student's Login ID ?

Q1. How can I get a new Student's Login ID ?
Ans. If you are a HKICPA Student and do not have Login ID, we have assigned a Login ID to you. To acquire your Login ID, simply click Acquire Login ID / Password, and then submit your HKICPA Student No. and the first 5 characters of your HKID number. Those students who have not provided HKID number to the Institute, please use the first 5 characters of your Passport No. instead. Your Login ID / Password will be shown on the next screen after you have clicked the 'Submit' button.

Q2. How can I get the password if I have a Login ID ?
Ans. As long as you have your HKICPA Student No. and a Login ID, you can create your own password by clicking Activate Login Account to activate your student login account.

If you are not sure whether you already have a password, you can check this out by clicking Acquire Login ID / Password and filling in the specified boxes.
 
Q3. How can I fill out 4 boxes in "Student Login Account Activation Screen" ?
Ans.
  1. For QP Student and JES Retainer: Enter your HKICPA Student number (non case-sensitive).

  2. Enter your pre-assigned Login ID or your approved Login ID.

  3. Specify your own password in the boxes of "New Password" that should be made up of 6-10 characters. It may contain numbers (0-9), uppercase or lowercase letters (A-Z, a-z), underscore( _ ) only.

  4. Enter the new password once more in the box "Re-enter New Password" for verification purpose.
 
Q4. If I forget the Login ID / Password for my Student Login Account, what can I do ?
Ans. To retrieve your Login ID, simply click Acquire Login ID / Password, and then submit your HKICPA Student No. and the first 5 characters of your HKID number. Those students have not provided HKID number to the Institute, please use the first 5 characters of your Passport No. instead. Your Login ID / Password will be shown on the next screen after you click the 'Submit' button.

Q5. How do I fill out 2 boxes in "Acquire Login ID / Password (HKICPA Student)" screen ?
Ans.
  1. For QP Student and JES Retainer : Enter your HKICPA Student number.

  2. Enter the first 5 characters of your HKID number. For those students did not provide HKID number to the Institute, use the first 5 characters of the Passport number instead.
 
Q6. Where can I change my Login ID and Password ?
Ans. You can change your Login ID and Password in Registered Students Only section. It is suggested you change the password periodically for security purposes.

Q7. I tried to login to the "Registered Students Only" Section, but the browser displayed the error "The page cannot be displayed" or "無法顯示網頁", what can I do ?
Ans. This means that you have to upgrade your Internet Explorer (IE).
For Chinese IE browser, you have to upgrade your IE browser to Version 5.01 Service Pack 2 or higher.
For English IE browser, you have to upgrade your IE browser to Version 5.5 or higher.
Please go to www.microsoft.com to download the latest IE browser and its service pack for upgrading your IE browser.
