Issue no. 782 (12 March 2020)

  Dear members/member practices,

Some CPD workshops to resume

After having assessed the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong and our hygiene and cleaning practices, the Institute will resume our face-to-face continuing professional development (CPD) workshops with up to 40 participants on 16 March. View the event calendar for details. In order to provide a safe and healthy environment to members, we will implement precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus.

A Plus – Special report on audit

The February issue of A Plus looks at the technology, methods, standards and skills shaping the work of auditors. It also features an interview with Ivan Chan, Practising Director at Mazars on his varied role in the audit profession and how he is constantly adapting. Other articles include interviews with ASTRI Chief Executive Officer, Hugh Chow, on innovating Hong Kong’s future, and CPA photographers on the art of storytelling through photos.
