The Institute's activities during coronavirus epidemic

 

On 18 Feb we updated members on the Institute’s working arrangements during the Covid-19 epidemic. The message covered arrangements for continuing professional development and member services, practice review, and complaint handling.

 
 

Free CPD webinar: Leading and motivating a virtual team

To enable members to face the challenges of homeworking during the Covid-19 epidemic, the Institute is holding a free-of-charge webinar on “Leading and Motivating a Virtual Team” on 27 Feb at 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Click here for the flyer.

Online registration will commence at 12:00 noon on 24 Feb. The webinar will also be recorded and offered to members as a free online course. Visit the CPD e-learning course webpage to explore other courses.

Latest arrangements of IRD public services

The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) announced that its public services will, until 21 Feb, be limited to (1) Business Registration Office; (2) Stamp Office; and (3) Central Enquiry Counter for enquiries relating to tax clearance for taxpayers leaving Hong Kong.

Deadlines for tax payments, lodgement of objections and holdover applications, and submission of tax returns and information that fall due between 29 Jan and 23 Feb will also be automatically extended to 24 Feb.
