32nd LAWASIA Conference
The 32nd LAWASIA Conference, jointly organized by The Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA) and The Law Society of Hong Kong, and entitled “Harmonization through Synergy” will take place in Hong Kong from 6 to 8 Nov. ORO tender notice

The Official Receiver’s Office (ORO) has issued a tender notice for taking up of appointment as provisional trustees under s.12(1A) of the Bankruptcy Ordinance. The deadline for tender submission is 16 Oct 12:00 noon.


HKFRS 16 Leases: Update and practical considerations

The seminar on 8 Oct will discuss the key issues in implementing HKFRS 16 Leases from different perspectives and the impacts of the standard on businesses beyond financial reporting.

ACFE's fraud investigation advanced course
The Hong Kong Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) will host a 4-part advanced training course on fraud Investigation on Saturday mornings in October, partnering with the Centre of Criminology of the University of Hong Kong.
