Workshops on listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange


The workshops from April to July will cover the preliminary planning stages, the pre-initial public offering considerations, the initial public offering process, and the continuing obligations of a listed entity. Participants will learn about the key aspects for listing, as well as merger and acquisition of listed/listing entities on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The speakers will also share their practical experience and common application issues.


Valuation in the new economy

The seminar on 3 May will discuss the characteristics of new economy businesses and the typical intangible assets involved. Attendees will gain knowledge about why valuation of new economy businesses can be difficult and the common valuation approaches available with real world examples.

Update on revised HKSA 540
The seminar on 28 May will present the changes, and the rationale behind the changes, in Hong Kong Standard on Auditing 540 Auditing Accounting Estimates and Related Disclosures and Consequential Amendments to Other Hong Kong Standards. The speaker will highlight the areas that may result in a change in practice and the conforming and consequential amendments in the application of the standard in various practical situations.

PICIG evening seminar – The trend of office rentals
Enrol in the Property, Infrastructure and Construction Interest Group evening seminar on 30 May where Ricky Lau, Deputy Managing Director, Head of Office Leasing, Savills (Hong Kong) Limited will talk about the market trend of office rentals, demand and supply of office space and the relevant government policies.
