Hong Kong-Jiangsu Joint Partnership Mission to U.S. and Japan

Analysts and investors: Roundtable discussion on financial instruments

The Institute will host a roundtable discussion on 1 Nov to discuss the latest thinking of how complex financial instruments could be reported in the future. Analysts, investors and other users of financial reports are invited to join this roundtable to share their views or concerns.


United Nations sanctions notices

Gazettal of Terrorists and Terrorist Associates under United Nations (Anti-terrorism Measures) Ordinance (Cap. 575) includes updating of specification of terrorists and terrorist associates designated by the United Nations Security Council (SC) Committees. The Notice (i) specifies the updated list of terrorists and terrorist associates designated by the SC 1988 Committee on 10 Apr and the SC 1267/1989/2253 Committee on 23 Aug; and (ii) revokes the previous 10 Aug Notice. There is also an amendment to one entry on the list of designations associated with ISIL (Da’esh) or Al-Qaida.
