Professional Diploma in China Tax – China tax course

The China tax course starting on 14 March is a compulsory component of the Institute's Professional Diploma in China Tax (中國稅務專業文憑), and would cover key China tax laws and practice and their application to tax computation. You may also take the course on a standalone basis to complement your China tax knowledge. Enrol by 4 March or join the information session on 16 Feb. to learn more.


INED practices

The programme between March and April will help you understand the roles and responsibilities of independent non-executive directors, including considerations in accepting appointment, legal and regulatory updates, corporate governance skills and board strategies from an independent perspective. +


Canadian tax update

Have you considered investing in Canada? The seminar on 4 March will talk about Canadian tax implications and opportunities, and its reporting requirements on non-residents investing or starting a business in Canada. +


From wireless to Internet of things

The seminar on 2 March will explore business opportunities for Internet of things in different markets and recent trends in mobile wireless technology, cloud computing and machine-to-machine communications. +

Dragon boat paddlers wanted and training course
We are recruiting dragon boat team members for the 2015 race season. Members with no experience are welcome but are required to join the training course in March. All other interested members are also invited to join the course.

Sailing events
The keel boat sailing day will take place on 8 and 21 March at Aberdeen Boat Club.

Sign up for the dinghy race day in May if you are an experienced sailors with at least 18 logged sailing hours as a helmsman.


Calligraphy class

The elementary calligraphy class on Kai Shu (楷書), comprising 12 lessons taught by famous calligrapher Lau Choi-cheong (劉才昌), will start on 5 March.
